Why we Started

As landlords ourselves, we started our business because we couldn’t find the HMO management we wanted. We wanted HMO lettings specialists who understood that HMOs are High Maintenance Operations, who were honest, hard working, kept tenants happy, rooms fully let, properties well maintained and landlords happy.  We felt this was something we could do really well so started HMO Peace of Mind.

We deliver guaranteed rent because we choose to deliver certainty to HMO landlords in a challenging market.

Meet the Team

Mike Marshall

Founder and Director
Mike founded HMO Peace of Mind to help remove the stress and hassle of letting a house to multiple occupants. Mike comes from a background in ‘Customer Success’ in the High Tech sector and so his whole career has been about getting value for customers from their investments. Mike loves spending time with his wife and kids, road cycling, rugby, travelling and socialising.

Oliver Mascarenhas

Director and Head of Tenant Management

Oliver has extensive experience in the property industry. He has been managing his family’s portfolio of properties for years. From refurbishments, to marketing and looking after their tenants – he’s done it all.. Oliver also worked at an estate agency on Upper Street – Islington and was soon their number one negotiator, building long term relationships with landlords and their contractors. Oliver decided to get into the property management business, based on his depth of experience and passion for property.
